Festival Guidelines

To make the Godiva Festival a fun and enjoyable experience for all, we ask you to follow these simple guidelines:



Conditions of Entry

• Please Do Not Bring Alcohol to the Festival
• The law states that it is an offence to drink alcohol in a public place in Coventry
• However, for the duration of the festival, alcohol may be purchased and consumed within an enclosed area of the War Memorial Park.
• A section of the festival will be fenced and patrons will be subject to searches as a condition of entry.
• Alcohol purchased elsewhere will not be allowed into the fenced area.
• Those found in possession of drugs or weapons will be reported to the police and will face exclusion and arrest.
• Any one appearing drunk or likely to cause crime or disorder will be refused entry.
• The event management and their representatives reserve the right to refuse entry.

Festival Guidelines

• Please use litterbins provided
• Do not bring disposable barbeques or light fires.
• Smoking will not be allowed inside any of the tents.
• There is ample Free Parking at the festival. Entrance on Leamington Road.
• The Park and Ride car park is for disabled users only. There is no access to the festival car park at the Park and Ride entrance
• Please Do Not Park on Kenilworth road or Leamington Road. Offending Vehicles will be towed.
• There are No Camping facilities at the festival.
