Hi all,
So here we are - 23 days until the festival and things are coming together nicely, although Godiva HQ is completely manic and hectic at the moment. We’ve expanded the core team who organise the festival and have welcomed a couple of new faces into the office - which is nice… I’m planning to blog a rogues gallery of the faces behind Godiva at some point - i just need to persuade them to let me take their photographs!
We’ve now fully confirmed all of the entertainment for the weekend and have a packed programme for you. You can get all the info you need on the FESTIVAL page of the website.
This morning we had a nice long meeting with all of the local statutory authorities (Police, Fire Service, Licensing etc) to thrash out all of the health and safety aspects of the festival to ensure everyone is happy. So we’re now back in the office finalising the event plans and documentation ready to send out to everyone.
Over in the marketing team, the guys are hurredly finalising the printed brochures for the festival which will be available both in advance and on the day to give you information about such things as what’s on, traders, maps etc.
So it’s full steam ahead now to the festival weekend.
The activity is starting to pick up on the festival forums, why not come in and express your views or just have a chat!?
