Straight from their underground secret party scene, Playtime take over the Godiva Festival to bring you a 'History of House'.
Although this venue is no secret, Playtime maintains the feel of their parties with resident Jonny Mac battling with the other Playtime DJ's, against a backdrop of 90's rave visuals from back in the day and performances from professional/local urban dance groups from across the city.
This event promises to take you back, way back, from present to past, in the unique Playtime Party style!
DJ Line up:
Jonny Mac (Vice Deviants)
Rosko Pico

Jonny Mac began his DJ-ing career back in 1995, alongside the world famous Fergie, playing Hip-Hop, Breaks and Funk...
He was soon off on his travels and Dundee was next where for a few years, alongside Ken Ferguson (Fergie's Brother) he ran Ricochet and, more importantly, started Frequency at Dundee University, with guests such as Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Wiseguys, Freestylers plus many more to great success, but was soon on the road again to Coventry - where he resides today.
requency went on to even more success in the Midlands. Based at the Colosseum Nightclub in Coventry he was rocking everyone in the Breaks, Hip-Hop and D&B scene over the next 6 years as well as running Frequency Session's in Leicester and Birmingham.
It was at the Colosseum where Jonny first booked Leeroy Thornhill (Prodigy) for his 1st DJ-ing gig and they hit it off. He spent the next 3 years DJ-ing across the world alongside Leeroy.
They went there separate ways in 2003 and shortly after that as luck would have it Jonny hooked up with Phil Hartnoll (Orbital) and again spent the next 2 years DJ-ing alongside Phil.
Now you can catch him making waves once again in Coventry at the popular 'Playtime Secret Parties'.
Also watch out for his for coming releases as 'Vice Deviants' - check out what's going on at www.myspace.com/vicedeviants
Rosko Pico, originally from Ireland where he played at all the major clubs in the country now resides in Leeds.
Having spent several years in Coventry he hooked up with Jonny Mac and played all over the city and also has a residency at 'Disorder' in Birmingham not to mention his regular appearances at the world famous 'Space' in Ibiza.
Jay Nana made his name in Coventry at 'Traffic' at Careys before he made the move to 'Playtime'.
Jay plays across the board and caters for all those tastes on the dancefloor.
If it's Hip-Hop and worth having he will have it. What this guy don't know about hip hop aint worth knowing!
